One of the greatest privileges we have as florists is creating floral tributes that tell a story.

While traditional funeral flowers are always beautiful and appropriate, some of the most meaningful pieces we create are the ones that celebrate a person's passions, personality, and the life they lived. These custom tributes often become far more than flowers—they become conversation pieces, cherished memories, and a reflection of someone who was truly one of a kind.

Flowers That Tell a Story

Over the years, we've been honoured to create some truly memorable celebration of life tributes.

For a lifelong Triumph enthusiast, we recreated the iconic Triumph logo entirely in flowers. For an avid fisherman, we carefully incorporated his collection of handmade fishing flies into the design, creating a tribute that reflected countless hours spent on the water.

One of our favourite projects involved building a miniature bowling lane complete with pins and a bowling ball, celebrating a passion that had brought years of joy, friendship, and competition. We've also incorporated full golf clubs into floral designs, creating arrangements that immediately reminded family and friends of time spent together on the course.

These are the kinds of details that make people smile through their tears because they instantly recognize the person being remembered.

More Than Flowers

Sometimes the most meaningful addition isn't a flower at all.

We regularly create custom printed ribbons featuring family messages, favourite sayings, company logos, military affiliations, or other personal touches that make a tribute even more meaningful.

Other times the challenge is figuring out how to thoughtfully incorporate a treasured keepsake, musical instrument, sporting equipment, or another item that held special significance.

Whether it's a fishing rod, a ukulele, a hockey stick, or something completely unexpected, we enjoy finding creative ways to include these personal elements while ensuring the floral design remains elegant and respectful.
